Lake Region State College volleyball falls in five sets to Dawson Community College

DEVILS LAKE — The Lake Region State College volleyball team came so close, even bringing it to a fifth set Thursday night.

The Devils Lake football season took an abrupt tumble on Friday. The No. 3-ranked Firebirds (3-2, 0-1) lost to unranked Wahpeton (3-2, 1-0) in their homecoming game, struggling to follow up an incredible performance two weeks earlier against Jamestown.

Devils Lake volleyball falls at home to Grand Forks Central

DEVILS LAKE — The Devils Lake volleyball team (1-12, 0-8) fell 3-0 to Grand Forks Central (4-12, 3-5) at the Devils Lake Sports Center on Monday.

The University of North Dakota football team scored the most points in Alerus Center history on Saturday. And numerous Lake Region representatives were a part of it.

North Star takes second out of 12 teams at Devils Lake Volleyball Tournament

North Star was the runner-up on Saturday at the Devils Lake Volleyball Tournament, which consisted of 12 teams. The Devils Lake JV team was the third-place winner, while New Rockford-Sheyenne was the No. 4 seed in pool play.
