Lovina Lou Charon, 92 of Devils Lake formerly of Lawton, ND, passed away on Nov. 29, 2025, at CHI, Devils Lake Hospital with loving family at her beside. The Funeral Service for Lovina will be held on Dec. 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Devils Lake with Reverend Lori Pankratz officiating. There will be a time of fellowship to follow at the KC Hall following the service. Burial will be at the Lawton Cemetery with day and time pending.

Roger Dennis Tofsrud, 76, a life long farmer of the Tofsrud Homestead, Minnewaukan, ND, passed away on Nov. 19, 2025, at CHI, Devils Lake Hospital. There will be visitation at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Dec. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Devils Lake. Burial will be in the Trinity Free Cemetery, rural Minnewaukan at a later date.

There was a graveside service for family and friends at the Devils Lake Cemetery on Friday, Nov. 28 at 1:30 p.m. with a time of fellowship to follow.
