Shirley Ann (Toso) Freeman, 87, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

Jennifer Ann Krumwiede, 50, of Rolette, ND, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. May 5, 2025 at the Rock Lake Community Center in Rock Lake, ND. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. April 4 at the Dunnigan-Dix Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the Community Center. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Alec J. Brown, 27 of Devils Lake, ND, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Alec is in the care of the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake.

Carole Ann Lysne, 76, of Minnewaukan, passed away March 5 at her home. Graveside service at 1 p.m. May 5 at the St. Peter Cemetery in Minnewaukan.

Michael “Mike” W. Torgerson, 64, of Leeds, N.D., passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at his home under the care of hospice. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 2 at the Leeds Lutheran Church with Pastor Sharon Baker officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Lebanon Free Lutheran Cemetery in Brinsmade, N.D., following the reception.

Lori Ann Alberts, 53, made her journey into the Spirit World on April 19, 2025. Wake for Lori will be April 24 at St. Michael’s Wellness Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Time of Prayer and Remembrance at 7:00 p.m. A procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday from City Plaza, Devils Lake. Funeral Service will be April 25 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Wellness Center. Burial will be at the Cynthia Alberts residence.

Donna Lee Walking Eagle, 77, of Fort Totten, ND, began her journey to the Spirit World on April 19, 2025 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. A Wake for Donna will be April 27 at Crow Hill Rec. Center, at 5:00 p.m. A procession to Crow Hill will leave on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza, Devils Lake. Funeral Service will be on April 28 at 10:00 a.m. Crow Hill Rec. Center with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Burial will be in St. Thomas Episcopal Cemetery, rural Crow Hill.

Robert “Bob” K. Kueneman, age 85 of Devils Lake, N.D., passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo surrounded by his family.

Muriel Sofia Thoreson passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Eventide Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake at the precious age of 104.
