Three members of the 2025 Lake Region State College volleyball team were named as All-Region XIII selections, the school announced Tuesday.

Anne Stroklund, Torri Fee and Sydney Schwabe received the honors.

All three of them were previously named all-conference as well, in addition to Mya Dueck being honored on the sportsmanship team.

“LRSC is proud to recognize Anne Stroklund, Torri Fee and Sydney Schwabe for earning All-Region honors,” the team wrote on Facebook. “Their leadership, work ethic and consistent impact on the court have elevated the standard of our program and set an example for those who follow. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement!”

The three all-region honorees were all new to LRSC volleyball this year. Schwabe, a sophomore, joined after playing basketball for the Royals as a freshman. Fee, a freshman, got to play on her hometown court in Devils Lake, while Stroklund joined after finishing her high school career for Kenmare/Bowbells.

As previously discussed, all three players were near the top of the statistical leaderboards. Stroklund, with 362 kills, ranked second in the Mon-Dak and 43rd in NJCAA Division II.

Schwabe had a ton of assists — 1,250, to be exact. That mark led the Mon-Dak and was the fourth-most nationally. She helped fuel an offensive unit that was led by Stroklund but extended to Katie Leece, Lexie Shearer and Kaitlyn Erickstad.

Fee was the anchor on the defensive side. The libero totaled 709 digs, by far the most in the Mon-Dak and eighth in NJCAA Division II.

Schwabe and Fee are both key players on the LRSC women’s basketball team as well.

The LRSC volleyball team won 29 matches this year, its most in the publicly recorded history of the program.
