Deng Deng and Jerry Kaminski will be hosting a football camp in Devils Lake.
The free event is scheduled for July 8. Grades 1-5 will go from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., while grades 6-8 will go from 1-4 and grades 9-12 from 4:30 to 7:30. The first group will not have pads or helmets. The other two groups are instructed to bring pads and helmets. All groups are asked to bring their own water bottles.
The registration deadline is July 1.
Participants will sign in at Burdick Arena and report to the Devils Lake Sports Complex.
Deng and Kaminski are both standout offensive players on the University of North Dakota football team. Deng is a local Four Winds Community High School graduate, and now a redshirt freshman at UND. He was the 2024 Mr. Basketball winner.
Kaminski is from Sun Prairie, Wis. He’s in his junior year and was the starting quarterback for the Fighting Hawks last fall.
