Letter to the Editor:
Never before has any US President’s opinion of a Russian dictator been so much higher than that of the US citizenry toward that dictator. It’s a first. Trump.
Never before has any US President mentioned going to war with a NATO ally, like against Denmark to confiscate Greenland. It’s a first. Trump.
Never before has a US President repeatedly referred to our border with Canada as being an “artificial boundary.” It’s a first. Trump.
Never before has a US President instructed the Pentagon to draw up plans for invading Panama to take control of the Panama Canal. It’s a first. Trump.
Never before has any US President seriously floated the idea of ceasing a Middle East region, removing its inhabitants, and turning it into a vacation destination mecca. It’s a first. Trump.
Doesn’t it make you wonder if the above “firsts” have something to do with that first “first?” Yet, there’re more.
Never before has any US President, in losing an election, claimed it to have been stolen. It’s a first. Trump.
Never before has a US President ventured to fill his cabinet predominantly with TV personalities who adore him. It’s a first. Trump.
Never before has a US President lost more court cases in a day than some presidents have lost in a term. It’s a first. Trump.
Never before has any US President defied court orders so many times. It’s a first. Trump.
Say what you will about him, it cannot be denied President Trump is a remarkable man of firsts – and that list is growing alarmingly.
Here’s one more first: never has any United States Congress been more in line with a US President seeking to establish a dictatorship. It is, indeed, a first. Cramer, et al.
