Richard “Rick” Arnold Monteith passed away unexpectedly May 31, 2025, at his home in Eden Prairie, MN.
Born Jan. 23, 1951, in Devils Lake, ND, to his parents Wayne “Cye” and Ragnhild “Rags” (Djuvstad) Monteith.
He is survived by his wife Lou Ann Shelton, his children, Dylan, Graham (Vanessa Marzolf) and Halle (Joe Farrel), his sisters, Mary Lou (Milam) Jones and Joy Sanchez, and Lou Ann’s children, Dennis (April) Shelton and daughter-in-law Caitlin Shelton, and his dog Watson.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister-in-law Gary and Iris Monteith, and brother-in-law Ron Sanchez.
He was greatly loved and is greatly missed.
