Kevin J. Alexander, 68, of Harvey, ND and formerly of Leeds, ND passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Sanford Bismarck Medical Center with his significant other, Vicky, by his side. Services were held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Leeds Lutheran Church in Leeds, ND. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial was at the Leeds Lutheran Cemetery.
Kevin was born May 10, 1957, in Rugby, ND to Norma L (Thurston) and John Alexander. Kevin lived in Leeds most of his life. He attended and graduated from Leeds High School in 1975. Kevin then attended UND for a short time. Kevin loved to play baseball. He also enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing.
Kevin farmed with his dad. After retiring from farming, he worked at the Hog Farms in Cando, ND, worked for the U.S. Census Bureau from 2009-2010 where he met his significant other Vicky and Nordic Fiberglass in Devils Lake, ND. Kevin eventually found himself working for NAU as a crop adjuster.
Kevin was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club in Harvey, ND, Club #3080. He was also a member of the NRA.
Kevin fought a courageous battle with Leukemia, until God called him home.
Kevin is survived by his children; Sarah Alexander, Byron Alexander, Sheila (Juan) Alanis, Veronica Alexander and Beth Alexander; 17 grandchildren; his significant other Vicky Calheim; sisters Faye (Dale) Halle and Bunny Alexander; several nieces/nephews; his sister-in-law Mary Alexander and brother-in-law Rodney Bennes. He was preceded in death by his parents Norma and John Alexander, his brothers Larry Alexander and Thomas Alexander and his sister Sherry Bennes.
