Eileen Goldade, 82, Minot, ND, formerly of the Hampden area, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Souris Valley Care Center, Velva, ND.
Eileen was born Feb. 12, 1944, the daughter of Melvin and Martha (Harveland) Larson, in Devils Lake, ND. She was raised and educated in Hampden. Eileen attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks, ND.
She married Dale Janzen and they were blessed with two children, Lori and Darin.
During her career she worked at Morelli’s, Schriock’s and Blesner’s.
Eileen married Dennis Goldade in Minot in 1976 and recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.
Eileen enjoyed gardening and her flowers. She was very involved and proud of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to classic country western music. Alan Jackson was one of her favorite artists.
Her loving family includes: Husband, Dennis Goldade, Minot; daughter and son-in-law Lori (Craig) Wass, Scottsdale, AZ; son and daughter-in-law Darin (Marnie) Janzen, Havelock, NC; grandchildren, Cody Wass, Minneapolis, MN; Jessica (Brandon) D’Ewart, Seattle, WA; and Alexa Zunich; ND, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert.
Visitation was Monday, April 13, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot, ND.
Celebration of the Life of Eileen Goldade will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Minot, ND.
Burial will take place at Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
