Margaret Hanesalo

Margaret Hanesalo, 101, was born on Sept. 10, 1924, and grew up on the farmstead where she was born. She married Verner Hanesalo, and then he went off to fight in World War II. They purchased a farm and lived for over 40 years on that farm near Mapes, ND. She passed away on March 23, 2026. Per Margaret’s wishes, a funeral will not be held. Burial will be held at a later date with immediate family members present.
