Feb. 25 – Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to benefit Josh & Ashley DeMarais (Baby Claire Benefit) 5 – 8 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 522 4th St. NE, Devils Lake, ND. All proceeds go to travel and medical expenses for Claire Marie DeMarais. Includes a Silent Auction (announced at 7 p.m.) and Bake Sale.
Feb. 25 – IOOF Crofton Lodge will host its annual Torsk (Poor Man’s Lobster) supper starting at 6 p.m. Featuring Torsk (cod fillet), boiled potatoes, melted butter, green beans, coleslaw, buns, dessert and coffee for $15.00 – everyone is welcome! The supper is located in the IOOF Hall at 414 3rd Av. NE in Devils Lake.
Feb. 25 & 26 – Free public Snowshoeing from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at White Horse Hill. Check out your snowshoes at the Visitor’s Center.
March 2 – 4 – The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, a light-hearted comedy that mocks the manners of the upper classes of London, England in 1895. Showtimes are March 2 – 4 at 7:30 p.m. and March 5 at 2 p.m. in the Robert Fawcett Auditorium of LRSC. Adults $10, seniors and children $5, LRSC students are free!
March 3 – World Day of Prayer 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Look for a story detailing this year’s theme and featured country coming up in the weeks ahead of this event.
March 4 – Fissshtival – Ice Fishing festival in Minnewaukan, ND.
March 21 – The Lake Region Community Concert Association presents Illumine Trio (trumpet, harp, soprano) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21 at the Robert Fawcett Auditorium at LRSC. Series passes are available at the door for $45. Information on next year’s series will also be available the night of the concert.
March 26 – Torsk Feed Fundraiser (poor man’s lobster) for Youth at St. Olaf Lutheran Church 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Will also include a Silent Auction and a Bake Sale. Donations for either or both will be welcomed!
April 27 – Kiwanis French toast and sausage feed in the KC Hall. Times and costs TBA
