It’s not too late to send in your story and pictures for National Ag Week coming March 16 – 21!
The Devils Lake Journal publishes on Tuesday, March 18 – that’s National Ag Day! So that will be our focus, but if we get more content, we will also run ag stories and pictures on Thursday, March 20, as well, in honor of National Ag Week.
Special ads and a B-Section will flesh out our community’s commitment to agriculture on Ag Day.

I grew up on a farm, myself, and have fond memories of taking care of calves, milking cows by hand, cleaning out barn stalls and chicken coops and slopping the pigs.
It was a good life and taught us many life lessons that resonate even now, all these years later.

Look through your photo collections for pictures of farming, picnicking on the farm, harvesting, haying, or interesting old barns you’ve seen along the highways and biways. Send them to me no later than March 13 to get them in the March 18 Devils Lake Journal in time for Ag Day.
