Each year, students enrolled in the Automotive Technology program at Lake Region State College receive support through program endowments like the Devils Lake Cars Program Endowment sponsored by the Bergstrom family.

Donors Renard and Candace Bergstrom believe in the impact that can be made on student lives through equipment, scholarships, tools, and other needs.

LRSC Automotive Technology faculty say the impact of such gifts makes a difference for students and the program of study.

“Students in the automotive technology program experience firsthand the power endowments have to change lives. Thanks to these gifts from Renard, Candace, their family, and Devils Lake Cars students are supported in multiple ways,” said LRSC Automotive Technology Professors Rick McAllister and Randy Olson.

In recent years, funds from this endowment purchased coats for graduating automotive technology graduates. This recognition highlights the family and company commitment to LRSC students.
