LACTC DECA members participated in the Emerging Leaders Conference at Valley City State University on January 31. Our chapter took 34 members to the conference. Members competed in a test and individual and team role play events.
Ty Kremer took third place and Mailey Artis took fourth place in Principles of Marketing role play event.
Rock Fang took second in his test and placed first place in Principles of Hospitality role play event.
Kaden Wass took third place in the Apparel & Accessories role play event.
Alex Popowski took third place and Olivia Mitchell took second place in the Business Services role play event.
Olivia Mitchell also placed first place on her test. Landon Kurtz took second place in the Entrepreneurship role play event. Lillian Eastman took third place in the Hotel & Lodging role play event. Angela Chen placed in second place in Restaurant & Food Services role play event. Gabby Hanson placed third place in the Sports & Entertainment role play event.
LACTC DECA will compete next at the State DECA Conference March 3-5 in Bismarck, ND.
