May 28: The Lakota Volunteer Fire Dept. will host the Devils Run Steak Fry, starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Lakota Fire Hall, 107 2nd St. E, in Lakota. Cars from the Devils Run Car Show will arrive at about 5:30 p.m. Burger dinners are $15 each, ribeye dinners are $30 each. All dinners include a baked potato, beans, breadstick and dessert. All proceeds will benefit the fire department.

May 29 – May 31: Devils Run 34th Car Show and Rod Run in various places throughout Devils Lake and the Lake Region. According to organizer Stan Orness, “Right now we have Devils Run entries from seven states and two Canadian provinces. (Updated 4-17-26) I believe this will be a record year. May 30: Join the community for the 14K Fallen Soldiers Run/Walk in Devils Lake, honoring North Dakota National Guard members. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Burdick Arena and features a 14K course through the town and surrounding areas, including stops along the route with refreshments and transportation provided back to the arena. Proceeds from the event will benefit the ND National Guard Foundation, which helps National Guard soldiers, families, and survivors. Registration is $25 per person or $15 for youths 12 and under. Early registration and packet pickup will take place on May 29, 5–6:30 p.m. at Burdick Arena, 501 Firebird Ln NW. June 16: Norwegian Treats bake sale 6 p.m. before the Arts In The Park concert at Roosevelt Park. Concert begins at 7 p.m. but don’t wait until then to take advantage of these treats. they sold out EARLY last year!

June 28: Neighbors in Nature: Exploring North American Snakes, 12 – 4 p.m.with Russell Keys at White Horse Hill Amphitheater.
