Devils Lake Dazzlers Continue to Dazzle

The Devils Lake High School Dazzlers Dance Team recently wrapped up a successful 2025–26 performance and competition season.

The team celebrated major accomplishments at the North Dakota Association of Dance and Drill State Competition, held January 30–31 at the Minot State University Dome.

After three strong preliminary performances, the Dazzlers advanced to the finals round in Class A Pom, Jazz, and Hip Hop.

Results

They earned a third-place finish in Pom and fifth place in both Jazz and Hip Hop.

Qualifying for finals in multiple categories was a team goal this season, making the achievement especially meaningful.

The team also competed in Class A Kick, narrowly missing advancement to finals by less than half a point.

In addition to their competitive success, the Dazzlers received the Team Scholar Award in recognition of achieving a cumulative team GPA above 3.2. The team has earned this academic honor every year since its first state competition in 2004.

Dazzler fans showed strong support throughout the weekend, filling the Dome with energy and school spirit. Prior to state competition, the team competed at multiple invitationals across North Dakota in December and January, bringing home top-ranking finishes in Pom, Hip Hop, and Jazz.
