NSMA recognizes Mojo Hill as North Dakota’s Sportswriter of the Year
The National Sports Media Association (NSMA) has announced Joseph “Mojo” Hill from the Devils Lake Journal as the award winner for the North Dakota Sportswriter of the Year, recognizing him for his outstanding contributions to sports reporting in North Dakota.

Armstrong releases statement on passing of former ND governor
BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Kelly Armstrong issued a statement regarding the passing of Allen I. Olson, who served as the 28th governor of North Dakota from 1981 to 1984 and as the state’s attorney general from 1972 to 1980. Olson died Friday, Dec. 26, at age 87.

ND high school launches “Bless a Bear” program for students in need
LARIMORE, N.D. – To spread some kindness this holiday season, the student council of Larimore High School launched “Bless a Bear,” an anonymous program made to help students in need of a little extra love and support this winter.
