CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Great lakes Aviation, Ltd. is helping in the battle to fight hunger with their 5th Annual “Flyin’ 4 Food” campaign to benefit the Dakota Prairie Community Action Agency in Devils Lake.

Today, more than 48 million Americans (16.2 million children) experience the harsh daily reality of hunger. IN fact, 14.5 percent of all U.S. households are struggling for food in some way.

These statistics are just a small snapshot of the true impact hunger has on this nation. This September, Great Lakes Airlines and the Dakota Prairie Community Action Agency need your help to end hunger in this community.

In honor of Hunger Action Month, when you bring any non-perishable food item to the Great Lakes counter through the month of September, you’ll be eligible for a chance to win one of four round-trip tickets between Devils Lake and Minnespolis. Donate as much food as you like, however, only one entry per person, per week is permitted.

Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Devils Lake Regional Airport.
