Dear Editor,
Undocumented immigrants (illegal aliens, as some like to say) are not eligible for virtually any federally funded programs. They are not eligible for Medicaid. They are not eligible for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, known as CHIP. They are not eligible for Medicare. They are not eligible for subsidized private insurance through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace.
So, you see, it can’t be that democrats are “shutting down” the government because of their desire to “give millions in health care to illegal aliens,” as so many pundits and politicians are claiming. They are not eligible. Look it up. Don’t just trust FOX entertainment news commentary on this. They and the political figures they show and quote are not being straight with us.
Be wise, Americans. Think for yourselves. Do at least the bare minimum research and Google it. Then ask yourselves the real reason the government is shut down, who’s sticking up for whom, and who’s sticking it to whom.
