Fr. Anthony Cruz
I am Fr. Anthony Cruz, the Parochial Vicar in St. Joseph’s Church in Devils Lake.
I am the 5th of six children in my family. I have my parents, three older sisters, one older brother, one younger brother, three nieces and three nephews and all my siblings are married.
My hobbies are listening to Christian devotional melodies and reading inspiring books and getting to know more people and friends.
I was ordained in 2014 for the Divine Mercy Province of Heralds of Good News, a Missionary Society. I did missionary work among the tribes in the Northern part of India and different Dioceses in the southern part of India. I came to America to work in the Diocese of Fargo in September 2019. I was A Parochial Vicar for 2 years at Little Flower Church in Rugby, 2 years at Nativity Church Fargo and now here in St. Joseph Catholic Church Devils Lake as Parochial Vicar to the Pastor Fr. Matthew Kraemer.
I am so glad to work here for the people of God. God wants all of us, his wonderful loving children, to experience His loving care and concern and to be always happy and joyful in Him full of blessings as Mary our Mother and St. Joseph. As we are all created in the image and likeness of God let’s become like Jesus to everyone, family, friends and to all people we meet in this world, to show how good, loving and holy is God who is present in all of us.
