Sharon L. Eickenbrock, 81, of Devils Lake, ND, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Visitation was held Saturday, July 15, 2023, with a service following at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake, ND.
Sharon Lily Henderson was born July 15, 1941, in Langdon, ND, the daughter of Leonard and Lily (McLean) Henderson. She attended school in Calvin, ND. Following graduation, she attended Josef’s School of Hair in Fargo, ND.
On Oct. 7, 1961, she was united in marriage to Orlen Eickenbrock. They made their home in Devils Lake, ND, where she worked as a hairstylist for many years. She also worked for Devils Lake Public Schools, MacJohn’s Restaurant, and then in charitable gaming until she decided to retire at the age of 80.
Sharon enjoyed traveling with friends, and in later years she spent time gardening and baking for her family. We have lost someone truly special and she will be forever in our hearts.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Orlen Eickenbrock; daughter, Deanna (Todd) Sager; son, Allen (Nancy) Eickenbrock; son, Jay (Michele) Eickenbrock. Grandchildren: Preston Eickenbrock, Tony Sager, Bailly Hoagland, Jordan Sager, Levi Eickenbrock, and Brody Eickenbrock. Great Grandchildren: Elle Sager, Zoey Sager, and Corbin Hoagland. Brother: Terrell (Judy) Henderson. Nephews: Terry, Kelly, Wyatt, Chad, and Shane.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Henderson; nephew, Ward Henderson.
