Devils Lake Police Department reports the following:
12/7/25: Police were dispatched to an address on Fifth Avenue SE for a report of domestic violence. Police arrived and spoke with two victims, who both had visible injuries to their faces; one had a large abrasion on her chest. Both victims said that their housemate and sister assaulted them over a past incident. Police then knocked on the door of the unit belonging to the alleged perpetrator. When she opened the door, she was placed under arrest, charged with two counts of domestic violence, a class B misdemeanor, and transported to the Lake Region Correctional Center.
12/7/25: Police were dispatched to an apartment on Fifth Street NE. Upon arrival, Police met with an adult female who stated that her boyfriend, an adult male, had struck her on the face and grabbed her by the neck during an argument. Photos were taken of her facial injuries. The adult male, who had been in the bathroom, came out and was placed under arrest, charged with domestic violence, a class B misdemeanor, and transported to the Lake Region Correctional Center. Later that day, the arresting officer learned that after the adult male had been booked, he texted the victim. Correctional staff told the adult male twice not to contact her. While getting phone numbers out of his phone, the adult male sent texts saying “Drop Charges” and “Sry,” along with other texts.
