As the Lake Region Public Library prepares to celebrate 20 years in its location Sunday, Dec. 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. will be a special time to stop by and enjoy some holiday treats while bidding on a book-themes silent auction basket (or two).
Both the City of Devils Lake and Ramsey County have proclaimes Dec. 3 as Lake Region Public Library Day in their honor.
Also, this month anniversary library cards and book sponsorships are available. What is a book sponsorship, you ask? A $5 donation gets a sponsorship recognition permanently placed in the book of your choice.
Money raised at this fundraiser will go towards the Giving Hearts Day match dollars this coming February.
