The 47th Devils Lake Chamber Walleye Fishing tournament was held Friday, June 23 at Grahams Island State Park.
According to Chamber Executive Director Suzie Kenner it was a good tourney, although a little soggy because of the rain. One hundred and nine teams of two were registered for the one-day event with the team of Skylar Schultz and Austin Storms winning the top prize, $6,500. They pulled in their limit for a total of 28.02 lbs. of walleye.
The Biggest Walleye – 8.17 pounds – was caught by Beth Macdonald, who was half of the team that won second place. Her partner was Kyle Olson and they brought in 27.39 lbs. of walleye.
The results are as follows:
