The latest Republican con is that the country is a hellhole of crime and only a strong unrestrained dictator can save the country. There has always been some level of crime throughout the country, and there will always be a certain level of crime. The current president is creating a narrative where, primarily in Democratic lead cities (it’s about the 2026 mid-term elections), crime is running rampant and must be contained using military force. It essential to realize that the current president will have very little, if anything to promote as positive policies for the upcoming 2026 mid-term elections. He knows the loss of one house of Congress is very bad for him because of his blatant corruption and disregard of the U.S. Constitution. Democratic lead congressional investigations will prove extremely problematic for our current president. He must create a narrative, however bogus, that crime will run wild if Republicans want to continue full control of the government.
Remember, he claimed millions of illegal immigrants had criminal records, a lie, that could be rounded up to produce the millions he wanted to deport. That claim was bogus and part of a grand immigration con that has led to chaos and confusion throughout the country, where individuals with no criminal record are being randomly arrested and even deported to foreign prisons that should never be used by any respectable and moral government. The current president lied to the country about his immigration effort and continues to con millions of citizens into believing what he is doing meets the standard that was the hallmark of this once great country.
It needs to be reiterated that the Washington Post documented and verified that Donald Trump publicly lied more than 30,000 times during his first term as president. Lying is what the current president does every day. His communication style is to repeatedly lie and misinform so that those paying attention to his often-incoherent rambles start to believe the lies as undeniable truth and generally become confused and drawn into whatever con is being perpetrated at the time. The current president is a very disciplined and seasoned con man who perpetrates cons by being aggressive with his lies and misinformation to appear fully confident in whatever con he is using at the time to get a certain result.
With few exceptions, most major or serious crimes in the country are on the decline. Washington, DC, had crime rates that were at 30-year lows, but the current president fictionalized the notion that crime was running rampant in DC so he could militarize the city. Ever the showman, the television program he seems to be producing includes episodes on immigration, city militarization, tariffs, crime, and other activities that appeal to his MAGA minions. Although his ratings aren’t as high as he would like. Only his most ardent supporters (MAGA) are the viewers buying what he wants people to take as a fact-based documentary is in fact pure fiction built on lies and misinformation. We shall see how many surprise episodes are yet to materialize that continue to treat the American public as chumps for whatever con is being executed.
On to Memphis and other Democratic controlled crime infested hellholes using the military as law enforcement. So that everyone is clearly aware, using the military in the U.S. under these contrived circumstances is unconstitutional. The Posse Comitatus Act was designed to prevent military involvement in domestic affairs without explicit authorization from Congress or the Constitution. How long can this illegal action go on, and where is the money coming from to send military personnel, who must be paid for active duty, to an increasing number of cities under the pretense of fighting crime? Electing an authoritarian, who really wants to be king, as president was undoubtedly going to lead to authoritarian policies and actions that would not represent the interests and needs of most Americans.
The overriding grand con that the current president is working that he is the people’s champion (Make America Great Again) when all along, as you may see with a democratic controlled House, it was always about making himself as wealthy as possible using the office of the president. Remember, this has always been and will be about money. Political power comes from the profound influence of money on our political process, which seems to allow enough individuals of dubious moral character or limited intellectual capacity to become elected officials who control our government at all levels. One of the greatest fears of the Founding Fathers was that corrupt, unscrupulous, and deceitful individuals could control the government, which might destroy or seriously harm their grand experiment of an evolving democratic republic that was focused on all the people, not just a privileged few. We have reached that feared point in evolution as a country.
