June 1 – 4 – The 2023 Devils Run is here!! Join the Rolling Thunder Dinner Cruise to Lakota on Thursday evening, June 1. Leaving Walmart parking lot at 5 p.m. Friday, June 1, the Devils Run activities take place at the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort. Saturday, at 7:30 a.m. is the 14 K Walk Run to remember the 14 North Dakota soldiers who have lost their lives in the war on terror. Devils Run parade is at 9:45 a.m. and the rest of the day is filled with Devils Run actitivies, including the steak fry and open air concerts in Roosevelt Park, vendors in the park and Women’s World shopping. Sunday closing ceremonies are also in the park with everything wrapping up around 3 p.m.

June 5 – The Summer Reading Program kick-off party in the library parking lot, Lake Region Public Library at 6 p.m.

June 13 – Annual School Board Election will be held in Devils Lake at the Memorial Building, 524 4th Ave. NE from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

June 29 – The Women’s Care Center presents The Party of the Year in the Odessa Event Center at Eastbay Campground at 6 p.m. with cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres and opening remarks at 7 p.m. Event includes Luxury Bingo, featuring luxurious high-end prizes, fabulous food and drinks and lots of fun with fellow Care Center friends. June 30 – Devils Lake Cars Centennial Celebration in Roosevelt Park. Downtown Horns, live band, from 6-10 p.m. Costume contest with cash prizes and celebrity judges. Fireworks at 10 p.m. Free and open to all – come and celebrate with us!
July 28, 29 & 30 – The Central High School class of 1963 will meet for reunion activities at the KC Hall (Friday 5 p.m.) and Roosevelt Park for a picnic (Sunday 1 p.m.) Mark your calendars!
