The celebration begins with the annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser for 4-H Sunday, Oct. 5
Ramsey County 4-H to Celebrate National 4-H Week October 5–11
Ramsey County youth and leaders will join thousands across the country in celebrating National 4-H Week, October 5–11, 2025. National 4-H Week is an opportunity to highlight the impact 4-H has on young people and their communities, while also recognizing the support of volunteers, parents, and local leaders who make the program possible.
Ramsey County 4-H currently involves more than 250 youth and 40 adult volunteers. The program gives young people the chance to develop lifelong skills, build lasting friendships, and make a positive impact through service learning.
The highlight of this year’s celebration will be the Annual 4-H Pancake Breakfast, scheduled for Sunday, October 5, at the KC Hall in Devils Lake. Serving will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Proceeds from the breakfast help support 4-H scholarships, camps, leadership opportunities, and local youth programming. The event is a long-standing tradition in Ramsey County, drawing strong community support year after year. Tickets are available to purchase from any Ramsey County 4-H member and will be available at the door.
In addition to the breakfast, 4-H’ers will be active in the community throughout the week. Youth will visit Eventide Care Center to create festive door hangers with residents, make tie blankets for area foster children, deliver goodies to generous sponsors, and even tune into Radio Works to share the 4-H story on air. These activities are part of the tradition of service and leadership that makes 4-H such a valuable program for Ramsey County.
Chairman Lee Gessner of the Ramsey County Commission has signed the proclamation declaring October 5–11 as National 4-H Week in Ramsey County. The proclamation will be displayed in the Ramsey County 4-H Office to highlight the recognition 4-H receives at the county level.
National 4-H Week is a time to celebrate the positive impact 4-H has on the lives of youth and families across the county. Ramsey County 4-H extends an invitation to the entire community: come out, enjoy a delicious breakfast, and help celebrate the power of 4-H.
