Saturday, Nov. 5 the First United Methodist Church of Devils Lake, located at 601 5th St. NE, hosted its annual Church Bazaar with countless items for sale including home baked and canned items, seasonal and Christmas decorations, greeting cards and Holiday napkins, plus misc. items — whatever would be sold in a “General Store.”
The highlight of the menu for a hearty lunch, though, is a vegetable beef soup that’s been made by members of the church for over 100 years. You could bring home a pint or a quart of it, too, to enjoy again and again.
