Prowlers outlast R-W 3-2

EDMORE, North Dakota — Rolette-Wolford forced a deciding set after squeezing past Adams-Edmore 25-23 in what could have been the clincher for the Prowlers.

It just prolonged the celebration as Adams-Edmore turned the tables and squeezed past the visitors for a 15-12 win in the final set to defeat Rolette-Wolford on Tuesday.

The Prowlers won the match 23-25, 25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 15-12.

Breiann Feast and Ashtin Freije combined for 17 kills to lead the Prowlers. Feast knocked nine kills to pace A-E, while Freije contributed eight kills of her own in the winning effort.

Senior Mary Bylin pitched in with five kills and recorded a match-high 25 assists.

Macy Martinson, who recorded a team-high five service aces, led R-W with 10 kills, while Allison Slaubaugh and Kaylee Scott added seven and five kills, respectively.

Kali Walsh led Rolette-Wolford with 20 assists on the night.

Adams-Edmore is scheduled to play in the Grafton Invitational on Saturday.
