LEEDS, N.D. — Inexperience can sometimes have its rewards. After losing a pair of players to graduation and another to a family move, Leeds wasted little time in trying to improve on its 12-17 record of a year ago as the Lions swept past Towner-Granville-Upham on Tuesday in Leeds.

The Lions won 25-13, 25-19, 25-18.

Meghan Jorgenson led the way for the victorious Lions. She tallied a match-best 11 kills for Leeds, while adding a pair of blocks and four digs.

Jeni Swanson and Kendra Liebfried each added four blocks for the Lions. Swanson also topped the team with five digs, while Liebfried notched 18 assists on the night
