MADDOCK, N.D. — A spirited Lakota volleyball team had no interest in going away quietly. After Maddock rolled to relative easy wins in each of the first two sets, the Raiders rallied to take the third game before succumbing to the Bobcats in four games on Monday.

Maddock won 25-14, 25-13, 21-25, 25-15.

Erin Leier paced the Bobcats with 10 kills on the night, while Courtney Hestdalen and Kara Kallenbach chipped in with eight and seven, respectively, for the winners.

Leier also finished with a team-high 13 assists, while Sara Schwanke pitched in with 12 assists of her own.

Brooke Calderwood and Karlie Matejcek finished with eight and seven assists, respectively, to pace the Raiders.
