WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) — Prosecutors are continuing to call law officers, and ballistics and crime lab experts to the stand in the trial of a North Dakota shooting suspect.

KBMW readio reports that the prosecution should wrap up its case by early Thursday, and the defense for 46-year-old Steven Rowland will get its turn to call witnesses.

Rowland has pleaded not guilty to murder and attempted murder in the shooting in a Wyndmere bar last St. Patrick's Day.

Authorities say Rowland was arguing with the bar's owner when he shot and killed bar customer Gordon Vosberg, who was trying to intervene. Authorities say Rowland had been trying to buy the bar from owner Robert Faber Jr., who took the stand Tuesday.
