CMS students named essay contest winners

The winners of the Elks Americanism Essay Contest were presented with their awards at the Central Middle School awards program on May 26. The topic was “Why I am proud to be an American.” Winners were: Eaven Allison, Division II local winner and ND State Elks Association winner; Marc Anderson, Division I local winner and NDSEA winner; Clayton DuBois, second place Division I; Jacinda Schell, third place Division I; Kylie Skadsem, second place Division II; and Pranisha Pantha, third place Division II. All winners were presented with U.S. Savings Bonds by the Devils Lake Elks Lodge and N.D. State Elks Association.
