The third grade students at Leeds School studied Mexico during the month of December. They learned facts about this interesting country, learned some Spanish words and discussed the Christmas customs of our neighbors to the south. The students created a classroom piñata out of paper Mache, decorated it and then wacked it until it spilled the treats.

Hannah Jensen, Shelby Follman, Macy Engstrom, Zoe Lauckner, Madi Dulmage and Katlyn Bingham hold the pinata they made.
