Man hurt in Esmond rollover

A man was hospitalized Thursday, Aug. 2, when he was ejected from his vehicle during a rollover hear Esmond, ND.

According to a report from the N.D. Highway Patrol, Wesley Gilleland, 46, of Harvey, ND, was driving a 2000 Chevy Blazer on Benson County Road #4, one mile south of Esmond, about 10:45 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and entered the ditch.

The vehicle rolled an undetermined amount of times, coming to rest on its hood.

Gilleland was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

He was taken to the Harvey Hospital and later transferred to St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck with unknown injuries.
