BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Bismarck lawmaker has been arrested for drunken driving.

Police say Dwight Wrangham collided Monday night with a trailer that was carrying some wrecked vehicles on Bismarck's East Main Avenue.

No one was injured.

Wrangham had been attending a North Dakota House Republican fundraising golf tournament at Bismarck's Apple Creek Country Club earlier that day.

Wrangham couldn't be reached immediately for comment. His first court date is July 7 in Bismarck municipal court.

The 65-year-old Wrangham was first elected to the North Dakota House in 2000.

His district includes eastern McLean County and parts of north Bismarck and rural Burleigh County.

Bismarck Police Sgt. Mark Buschena (boo-SHEE'-nah) says he has no record of Wrangham being arrested previously for driving under the influence.
