ND woman faces federal charges assaulting boyfriend
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say a North Dakota woman accused of assaulting a man for the second time in three years faces federal charges for violating terms of her probation.
Court documents show that Marvine Dupris was charged in Burleigh County Court last month with aggravated assault for allegedly stabbing the man in the neck.
Dupris was convicted in 2008 of beating the same man with a metal pipe.
The victim reportedly told police that Dupris is his girlfriend.
Dupris was originally sentenced in federal court to 33 months in prison after pleading guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon.
