DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A Nov. 28 trial is slated for a case involving a fire that destroyed a downtown Dickinson historic building in 2007. The blaze has sparked a spate of lawsuits over who is to blame.

The Dickinson Press reports that the owner of the Elks Building sued High Ball Construction for allegedly causing the fire four years ago. The fire also damaged the neighboring Wells Fargo bank.

Wells Fargo sued the owner of the Elks Building and the construction company, claiming both were negligent.

The newspaper says the construction company filed lawsuits against two other companies that were involved in the work that caused the fire.
