Body of missing ND boater recovered
WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — Authorities have recovered the body of a Williston man who fell out of a boat on Lake Sakakawea on Saturday night.
The Williston Herald reports that Williams County sheriff's deputies and state Game and Fish Department staff found the body of 49-year-old Randy Poole late Wednesday afternoon.
The body was sent to the state medical examiner in Bismarck for an autopsy. Authorities are still investigating how Poole fell overboard while boating with two others in the Hofflund Bay area.
