Staff reports

Dillon Music, 20 of Devils Lake was sentenced last week on two charges, abuse or neglect of a child, a C Felony and tampering with witnesses, also a C felony.

He was arrested and contacted the child’s mother from jail on December 18, asking her to tell police investigators that she caused the injuries, which she did several days later.

He pled guilty to both charges and was sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections, with credit for 169 days, and the remainder suspended for four years of supervised probation.
