Ward County approves exotic dancer ordinance
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — The Ward County Commission has approved an ordinance allowing clubs to have exotic dancers, with restrictions.
The Minot Daily News reports that the clubs will not be allowed to serve alcohol, and patrons and employees must be at least 21.
The commission has been wrestling with the issue of how best to regulate exotic dancers after two recent requests. The owners of a restaurant near Burlington were denied a permit, while the owners of a bar in Foxholm were granted a permit for an annual tradition of having strippers on the opening weekend of deer hunting season.
