Hoeven honors North Dakota Guards members at send-off ceremony in Devils Lake

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. – Senator John Hoeven  commended the service of 50 members of the North Dakota National Guard’s 835 Engineer Detachment at a send-off ceremony in Devils Lake. The senator, joined by Governor Doug Burgum and Adjutant General Alan Dohrmann, commended the servicemembers and outlined his ongoing efforts to support the men and women of the North Dakota National Guard as a member of the Senate Defense Appropriations Committee. Headquartered at Camp Grafton Training Center, the company will deploy to the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility, where they will be providing support to CENTCOM.
