This photo of Six Mile Bay was taken during last Friday’s storm. That storm featured tornado warnings and some wind damage around the region, though the area mostly avoided the worst of the weather.

Tuesday saw another round of thunderstorms blow through the Lake Region, and the Associated Press reported that “powerful storms knocked down utility lines and trees in western Minnesota and eastern North Dakota leaving thousands of people without power,” mostly in the Fargo area.

The AP also reports that winds were strong enough to topple four semis on I-94 in Minnesota. More storms are expected in the region Wednesday.
