Farm Rescue adds services
Special to the Journal
HORACE, N.D., June 2, 2016 - Farm Rescue announces the addition of round bale hauling to its services, as well as grain hauling and volunteer-only assistance for haying or harvesting. Applications for 2016 haying and harvesting assistance for families experiencing major injury, illness or natural disaster are now being accepted.
According to their website, Farm Rescue “gives families a chance to continue their livelihood by providing the necessary equipment and manpower to plant, harvest or hay their crop, free of charge.” The group has assisted nearly 300 families since its inception in 2006.
"Our goal at Farm Rescue is to help as many farmers and ranchers as possible by providing additional assistance services,” Farm Rescue President Bill Gross said. “Dedicated hay and grain hauling are available both in the terms of free assistance for approved cases and for hire as a source of earned income to support the mission of the organization."
