Eagleman appears in court, another man sentenced

Kenneth Eagleman, 29, of Fargo, appeared in Ramsey County District Court for a  hearing on the charge of Escape, a Class C felony.

On April 21, 20-16, it is alleged that Eagleman Escaped form the LEC by breaking a steel grate off a window and absconding. He was apprehended May 1. Eagleman waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and is set to appear again for a status hearing on June 30.

Kyle Eugene Vivier, 29, of Devils Lake, was sentenced on the charge of Theft, a C felony, and Possession of Tramadol, a C felony.

About April 21, 2016, Vivier entered an office in the hospital and stole about $2,200 of property.  Eventually, officers of the DLPD identified Vivier as a suspect, and a search warrant was obtained to search his Devils Lake residence. Officers located most of the stolen property. Vivier is currently serving 18 months and was given a two year suspended sentence with supervised probation.
