2 firefighters injured in New Rockford newspaper blaze

NEW ROCKFORD, N.D. (AP) — Two firefighters have been hospitalized after battling a fire at a newspaper office in central North Dakota.

WDAY-TV reports crews responded to the offices of the New Rockford Transcript after a call came in shortly before 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Crews battled the fire for about four hours. Nearby businesses were threatened but weren't affected.

One firefighter on the scene suffered from heat exhaustion and another from dehydration.

The building is a total loss.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
