Devils Lake Public Schools is celebrating Red Ribbon Week this week - which aligns with the National Red Ribbon Week Celebration this year.  Here's what kids from Minnie H are up to:

On Friday Oc.t. 24, third and fourth grade Kids Club members (Kids Club is a service learning club) tied red ribbons on the antennas of vehicles at area new car dealerships (Lake Chevy, Marketplace Ford and the Chrysler Center).

Students also made posters to be hung in local businesses that proclaimed the National Theme - "Love Yourself - Be Drug Free."  Local businesses received Minnie H posters including Performance in Hair, Marketplace Motors, Western State Bank, Leevers North, Minnie H Cleaning Center and the White House Cafe.

The week also featured dress up days, Red Ribbon bracelets for students to wear, daily drawings for prizes, classroom guidance lessons regarding safe use of medicine and drug and alcohol awareness and/or prevention lessons.
