Fright Night is coming Oct. 29
Eva and Mark Olson invite all nonprofit organizations to come to and be involved with the community’s “Fright Night” from 5 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 in the Memorial Building.
They are looking for non profit vendors to celebrate the season and donate some time for youngsters.
This is “Fright Night’s” seventh year and all money raised by ticket and item sales goes to two local charities. It all stays right here in the Lake Region.
They are evaluating which groups will receive the proceeds this year, that decision has not been made yet. When it is, representatives of those groups will be present at the event, as well.
Fright Night is for all children from preschool through 10 years old - that’s the targeted age group that the games are geared towards, according to Eva, but older and younger children are welcome to attend provided they are accompanied by a parent or adult.
There will be a bounce house (free) and cake for everybody plus lots of games to play.
Each person pays $3 to get in the door and tickets are 25 cents a piece for the games.
Everyone is encouraged to come in costume - so they can enjoy their Halloween costumes before the big Trick or Treat day.
Another booth will sell food like tacos in a bag and soda. If you’d like to have a booth or are willing to donate some time to help with this fun event, call the Olsons at 662-5262.
