Devils Lake Homecoming a ‘cool’ day - really
The cool temperatures and stiff North Dakota winds didn’t dampen the spirits of the Devils Lake High School students and alumni as they celebrated Homecoming this weekend.
The parade was held at 10 a.m. and it was one of the largest Homecoming parades held in a number of years.
Fans filled the stands for the game at 3 p.m., undaunted by the cold and steady wind from northwest, blowing directly into their faces.
Then, despite losing to Fargo North, the celebration continued on with the Homecoming dance at 9 p.m. in the DLHS Sports Center which was transformed for the evening into a lovely ballroom.
