It was standing-room only the last time the ND and Minn. Alzheimer Association came to Devils Lake for a presentation. That was one month ago on April 7.

But even if you missed the presentation “Understanding Memory Loss” on Monday, April 7 you might want to attend the follow-up presentation scheduled for Monday, May 5 titled “Understanding Communication and Challenging Behaviors.”

The Alzheimer's Association MN-ND will be holding this follow-up presentation in the same location, the Chautauqua Gallery at LRSC.

This presentation will discuss communication challenges those with dementia face and will offer tips and techniques for effective communication. It will also, cover common behavioral challenges and strategies for identifying and managing behaviors.

This is a free public presentation. No pre-registration required.

This project is supported by funding granted through the North Dakota Department of Human Services, Aging Services Division.
